Waiver for Spiritual Care Sessions with Pastor Ben Bryson:

NOTICE TO CLIENTS: THIS IS NOT COUNSELING OR MEDICAL ADVICE

Thank you for choosing to meet with Pastor Ben Bryson for spiritual care. Please read the following waiver carefully and sign below to acknowledge your understanding and agreement.

   1.    Spiritual Care Disclaimer:
The services provided by Pastor Ben Bryson are for spiritual guidance and pastoral care only. These services are not intended to be a substitute for professional mental health counseling, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Pastor Ben Bryson is not a licensed counselor, psychologist, or medical professional in the State of Hawaii, and no therapeutic relationship is established through these sessions.
   2.    No Crisis or Emergency Services:
If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, please seek immediate assistance by contacting a licensed healthcare provider or calling 911. These sessions do not offer crisis intervention or emergency support. For ongoing mental health concerns, we encourage you to seek appropriate professional medical or psychiatric care.
   3.    Confidentiality:
While Pastor Ben Bryson seeks to maintain confidentiality, please be aware that spiritual care sessions may not be protected by the same confidentiality standards that apply to licensed counselors or therapists. In some cases, disclosures may be required by law (such as cases of abuse, threats of harm to self or others, or other situations mandated by Hawaii law).
   4.    Release of Liability:
By signing below, you acknowledge that you understand and agree that Pastor Ben Bryson and any associated parties shall not be held liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes arising from your spiritual care session(s). You understand that this is not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or psychological advice, and you agree to release Pastor Ben Bryson from any claims arising from your participation in these spiritual care sessions.
   5.    Governing Law:
This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Hawaii. Any disputes arising from this waiver or from the spiritual care sessions shall be resolved within the appropriate jurisdiction of the State of Hawaii.

Acknowledgment and Agreement:

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this waiver. I understand that Pastor Ben Bryson is offering spiritual care and that this does not constitute professional counseling or medical advice.
